Developmental Screening

Developmental screening is designed to identify problems or delays during normal childhood development and is one of the best things you can do to ensure a child’s success in school and life. Screening is not meant to establish a diagnosis, but rather to help determine whether more in-depth assessment is needed. All too often, children at risk for developmental and behavioral problems go undetected. The ELC of Duval can help link these children and their families to community-based services and support programs.
